In 1973, as customer demand and our product line grew, we moved 35 miles east to larger facilities in Sodus, New York, located in the Northern tier of New York’s famous Finger Lakes region. Today, Dynalec is known for our extensive manufacturing and engineering capabilities, and for the high quality and reliability of our products. As a privately-held, certified Small Business, we take pride in the long-term relationships we have built with our customers, and in the confidence they have placed in us. Our number one priority is to provide systems that our end users can rely upon, whatever their operating environment. To that end, Total Quality Management and Statistical Process Control are incorporated into our manufacturing processes. We are qualified to (and maintain compliance with) MIL-Q-9858-A, MIL-STD-2000 for soldering, and DOD-STD-1686 for electrostatic discharge protection. In the years since Dynalec moved to Sodus, we’ve expanded our facilities several times, and in October of 2018 we broke ground on our latest expansion. In order to keep pace with demand as the Navy grows the fleet, we are doubling the square footage of our machine and metal fabrication shop. The expansion area is expected to be on-line in mid-2019.
