MINNEAPOLIS, MN (April 3, 2002) - David Duhaime, President of Aspect Loss Prevention, announced the release of Version 1.6 of Elite LossPREVENTION™. “The release of version 1.6 of Aspect Elite Loss Prevention provides our customers with efficiency improvements in the creation of reports within our robust exception reporting tool. We have provided our customers even more robust options that will deliver actionable reporting to their loss prevention and operations organizations. This release is the first of series of major feature and functionality modifications planned for 2002. We will continue to address our customer needs and advance them with new technology in Loss Prevention.

ENHANCEMENT HIGHLIGHTS

Ad Hoc Design Enhancement
The industry‘s most dynamic ad hoc reporting tool has gotten even better! The report design process has been enhanced with auto-logic that helps users select the correct tables, joins and data to create the desired result. Additional table selections make it easier to work with computed columns.

Top 10 Report Criteria Selection
The Top Ten Stores Report already is an outstanding way to get a lot of information to key users in all areas of the company. The 1.6 release makes it even more efficient to create the reports for different regions, districts or associate groups. The addition of store, register and associate group headings helps expand the functionality of the report.

Alternative Drill Down
The Aspect Elite LossPREVENTION™ tool now gives the user the ability to drill down from summary to transaction level information in a variety of ways. This allows the user to tailor the drill down to the specific needs of an investigation.

Saving and Sharing Filters
The robust Filter program allows users to look at a single report in an almost unlimited number of ways without running the entire process multiple times. With 1.6, commonly used filters can be saved for each report; a great time-saver for the user. Since many filters are utilized by multiple users, we have added the ability for the Administrator to predefine filters and make them available to all users. This is an outstanding way for a company to capitalize on successful program use!

Application Help
The context sensitive Help program has been updated with all current release information as well as more step-by-step instructions to help users at every level.
