The E220R offers high-performance and affordablity in a rack-ready system (up to 10 per 72-in. rack. The Sun e220r can contain up to two 450-MHz UltraSPARC-II CPUs and 2 GB of memory for high performance. The e 220 r servers uses UPA crossbar-switch interconnect, PCI local bus, and 40-MB/sec Ultra SCSI disk for maximum throughput. To assure better uptime the e220r offers dual power cords, redundant AC power, hot-swap power and disks, and Sun Enterprise SyMON software for remote administration.
