The Fujitsu 9900 barcode scanner combines innovative design and leading-edge technology to deliver unsurpassed performance, functionality and reliability.
It has multi-interface options, complete EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) capability, ease-of-use and a feature-rich design.
The Fujitsu 9900 is designed to fit into the same size checkout counter hole required by most popular high performance scanners, which means counter modification is often unnecessary. The cash drawer and keyboard may both be located in front of the cashier to allow the cashier to maintain eye contact with the customer, and to minimize twisting and turning. Cashiers can even work comfortably when seated.
The Fujitsu 9900 has a stainless weigh platter with flush-mount window for easy sliding of items through the scan zone. For maximum feedback, a speaker is located on the front of the scan tower facing the operator. A sapphire bottom window ensures long life with no replacement, while the side-window is easily cleaned and replaced. A unique VLC (Visible Laser Diode) assembly module allows parts to be easily replaced.
The Fujitsu 9900 is provided with an integrated EAS antenna and a dedicated EAS port for ease of connection and compatibility with Checkpoint EAS Systems. Two models are available: a scanner or scanner with scale. The scale module can be attached or detached in the field. It features: fast settling time, simple calibration process; scale re-zero switch on scan tower; and remote weight display.
